The Pike County Fire Department and Pike County Emergency Management Agency have decided to lift the burn ban. We are urging everyone to keep the fires small, stay with them the entire time, have water and/or a hose available while burning or have a nice fire break around the fires perimeter. The statewide ban will still go into effect on May 1st. We urge everyone to be very cautious when burning.
